Very seldomly is there a connection between finance and faith, society looks at these two areas as being mutually exclusive. The scale of the economic challenge created by the COVID-19 pandemic has devastated communities of color. The pandemic has not only exposed weaknesses in US health systems but also, just as quickly, exposed economic vulnerability with small businesses. Thrivent is working to help small businesses to stay alive/reopen with financial assistance through a partnership with Rebrand Cities which will be discussed. This fireside chat with DeAnte will focus on helping the small business communities in Detroit reset their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
